With their second win of the day on Sunday, BetBoom Team earned a 3-1 victory over Gaimin Gladiators in the grand final at the $1 million PGL Wallachia Season 5 event in Bucharest, Romania.

BetBoom Team got off to a fast start with 40-minute win on red and 30-minute victory on green before Gaimin Gladiators responded with a 54-minute triumph on green.

BetBoom Team, however, answered with a 65-minute win on red to capture the tournament’s top prize of $300,000.

BetBoom Team had previously posted a 2-0 victory over Team Liquid in the lower-bracket final, courtesy of 42- and 29-minute victories on red. That win avenged BetBoom Team’s 2-1 setback to Team Liquid in the upper-bracket semifinals on Friday.

Sixteen teams began the Dota 2 competition on June 21, with the top eight advancing from the group stage to the double-elimination playoffs.

PGL Wallachia Season 5 prize pool:
1. $350,000 — BetBoom Team
