Team Vitality swept Team Falcons in the grand final of the ESL Pro League Season 22 in Stockholm on Sunday to take home the $100,000 prize.

Team Falcons received $50,000 as the runner-up. In the third-place game, MOUZ also posted a sweep, taking down FaZe Clan and earning $28,000. For finishing fourth, FaZe Clan earned $22,000.

The $400,000 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event began with 16 teams competing in Stage 1, with eight eliminated over five rounds. Eight more teams were invited directly to Stage 2.

Stage 2 featured the top eight teams from Stage 1 and the eight teams with automatic entries competing in a 16-team Swiss format, with all matches being best-of-three.

The top eight teams from Stage 2 qualified for the playoffs, which ran through Sunday with a single-elimination bracket. All playoff matches were best-of-three except for the grand final, which was best-of-five.

In the grand final against Team Falcons, Team Vitality opened with a 13-10 victory on Inferno and followed that up with wins on Train (13-9) and Dust II (13-5) to clinch the title. Israel’s Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan sparked Team Vitality with 62 kills and a plus-21 kill-death differential — both game-highs.

In the third-place game, MOUZ rolled to the sweep of FaZe Clan with a 13-7 win on Ancient and 13-10 on Overpass, led by Finland’s Jimi ‘Jimpphat’ Salo (38 kills, plus-19 kill-death differential).
