Four teams kicked off the Legends Stage of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 with a pair of wins to emerge as the biggest winners on Saturday: G2, Entropiq, Natus Vincere (NAVI) and Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP).

Those four will participate in the High Matches in Round 3, giving them more margin for error than their competitors.

G2 got off on the right foot in Round 1, defeating Copenhagen Flames 16-11 on Ancient, before advancing again with a 16-7 win over FaZe on Mirage.

Nemanja “huNter-” Kovac finished plus-7 in both games, the latter score good for the best kills-to-deaths ratio on the team.

Entropiq powered past Liquid 16-9 on Vertigo in Round 1. Another 16-9 score on Vertigo was the result in Round 2, this time against Gambit.

Viktor “Lack1” Boldyrev was the hero against Liquid, posting a K-D ratio of 23-14 (plus-9). Teammate Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko stepped up against Gambit, finishing plus-10 with a 23-13 K-D ratio.

NAVI defeated Heroic 16-11 on Ancient before blowing past Virtus.pro 16-4 on Overpass.

Denis “electronic” Sharipov notched a 25-16 K-D ratio (plus-9) in Round 1, while Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev was the pace-setter against Virtus.pro, finishing plus-14.

NIP got past MOUZ 16-12 on Inferno in the first round and then blasted Astralis 16-1 in the second, also on Inferno.

Hampus “Hampus” Poser led the way with a plus-8 in the first contest before following it up with a plus-13 in Round 2. Linus “LNZ” Holtang finished plus-14 against Astralis.

In the Round 2 Low Matches, CPHF crushed EG 16-2, Liquid defeated ENCE 16-8, Heroic beat Vitality 16-12 and FURIA got past MOUZ 16-9.
