FunPlus Phoenix no longer will compete in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive play, the Chinese organization announced.
FunPlus Phoenix entered the CS:GO scene in January after acquiring the former GODSENT lineup of Jesse “zehN” Linjala, Martin “STYKO” Styk, Pavle “Maden” Boskovic, Asger “Farlig” Jensen and coach Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg.
“Due to the limitations and difficulties during our remote management, we feel that a change has to be made,” FunPlus Phoenix said in a statement. “… All our members now are available to explore more options in CS:GO esports, and we wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors!”
