CSGO: Falcons, MOUZ set to battle for PGL Cluj-Napoca title

It will be Team Falcons vs. MOUZ for $400,000 on Sunday.

Despite finishing fourth and sixth, respectively, in the group stage of the $1.25 million Counter-Strike: Global Offensive PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 in Romania, Falcons and MOUZ completed the run to the grand final on Saturday with semifinal victories.

Sixteen teams started the competition on Feb. 14. The top eight teams advanced through the group stage to a single-elimination playoff bracket. All matches were best-of-three until the grand final, which will be best-of-five.

The winner will take home $400,000 with the runner-up settling for $187,500.

The Falcons had the more impressive win on Saturday, taking down top-seeded FaZe Clan with a two-map sweep. The Falcons edged FaZe 13-11 on Dust II to open the match, then hammered FaZe 13-6 on Ancient.

Nikola “NiKo Kovac of Bosnia and Herzegovina led all players 39 kills and a plus-16 kill-death ratio in the win.

In the other semi, MOUZ opened with a 16-14 overtime win on Inferno, but seventh-seeded Astralis responded with a 13-8 win on Nuke. In the decider, MOUZ took Ancient 13-5.

All five MOUZ players finished with positive K/D ratios, while every Astralis player ended the match in the negative.

Israel’s Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi led all players with 55 kills and a plus-12.

The PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 concludes on Sunday with the third-place match between Astralis and FaZe Clan, followed by the title match featuring Falcons and MOUZ.
