The Surge moved to 4-1 in finishing their strong qualifying run with a 3-0 sweep over the New York Subliners, who dropped to 3-2. The Breach upped their mark to 4-1 in defeating the Los Angeles Thieves in a five-map, 3-2 thriller.

In the day’s other bout, OpTic Texas downed the Atlanta FaZe 3-1, leaving both teams with 3-2 records through qualifying.

Boston took the lead again, taking El Asilo Control 3-0 before Los Angeles tied it again by claiming Zarqwa Hydroelectric Hardpoint 250-217. The Breach finally won with a convincing 6-1 win on El Asilo Search & Destroy.

Boston’s Dylan “Nero” Koch led all players with 90 kills, while Kenneth “Kenny” Williams led the Thieves with 86 kills. Both players hail from the United States.

OpTic began with a 250-247 victory on Breenbergh Hotel Hardpoint. Atlanta drew even, beating their foes 6-3 on El Asilo Search & Destroy, but the event hosts conquered the next two maps, winning 3-0 on Breenbergh Hotel Control and 250-207 on Mercado Las Almas Hardpoint. The United States’ Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro produced 84 kills and a plus-1.24 K-D ratio for OpTic, while Tyler “aBeZy” Pharris, also of the U.S., posted 85 kills for FaZe.
