CALLOFDUTY: OpTic Texas win again in CDL Stage 3 Major qualifying

OpTic Texas swept Cloud9 New York to improve to 2-0 in Call of Duty Stage 3 Major Qualifiers on Saturday.

OpTic Texas recorded a 250-148 win on Vault, 6-3 victory on Protocol and 3-1 triumph on Hacienda.

Also Saturday, the Carolina Royal Ravens posted a 3-1 win over Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 and Miami Heretics secured a 3-2 victory over Vegas Falcons.

Boston Breach notched a triumph over Toronto Ultra after the latter was forced to give up a series because of server issues.

The Stage 3 Major qualifying round has the league’s 12 teams playing five qualifying matches apiece through April 20 to determine seeding for the Stage 3 Major playoffs, slated for April 24-27 in Boca Raton, Fla.

Carolina got off to a fast start with a 250-243 win on Protocol and 6-4 victory on Dealership before dropping a 3-0 setback on Hacienda. The Royal Ravens closed out their match with a 250-146 decision on Red Card.

Miami bounced back from a 250-167 setback on Skyline by securing a 6-5 victory on Dealership and a 3-0 triumph on Hacienda. Heretics overcame a 250-234 setback on Hacienda by posting a 6-2 win in the final map.
