Cloud9 New York and the Vancouver Surge announced they have released their Call of Duty League rosters following the end of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 season.

Coming off a 10th-place finish, New York announced it has parted ways with Daunte “Sib” Gray, Kyle “Kremp” Haworth, Isaiah “Gwinn” Gwin and Kris “Spart” Cervantez along with coach Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi.

“Wishing them all the best in Black Ops 7 as we part ways ahead of next season,” the team posted on X.

Cloud9 acquired the franchise in August 2024 from the New York Subliners. The team finished in the top eight at each of the first two Majors this season, but then had consecutive top-12 finishes at the final two Majors.

By contrast, Vancouver made the Grand Finals three times during the Black Ops 6 season after rebranding from the Seattle Surge last year. The Surge also reached the final at the Esports World Cup, where they fell to OpTic Gaming.

Despite that success, Jovan “04” Rodriguez, Byron “Nastie” Plumridge, Travis “Neptune” McCloud and Jordan “Abuzah” Francois are now free agents along with coach Ray “Rambo” Lussier.

“To every clutch, every grind & every moment – we appreciate it all,” the team posted on X. “Thank you for your dedication, passion, and hard work that delivered memories we’ll never forget.

“As we move into the next season, we’ll be parting ways with Rambo, Abuzah, 04, Nastie & Neptune. From clearing the slate to raising the tide, we’ll aim high on building a new wave for the Surge.

“The next wave starts now.”
