Manny Pacquiao will return to the boxing ring on April 18 in Las Vegas for an exhibition bout against former junior welterweight world champion Ruslan Provodnikov.
The 10-round welterweight fight will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center, organizers announced late Tuesday.
Pacquiao, 47, last fought on July 19, losing a majority draw decision to WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
“Returning to Las Vegas means so much to me, and I’m excited to work with a team focused on creating a world-class experience for the fans,” Pacquiao said in a statement. “I’m coming back to give them a great fight — and I’m ready.”
Pacquiao (628-3, 39 knockouts) won 12 world titles in eight different weight divisions and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame last year. The Filipino superstar also served as a senator in his home country from 2016-22.
Provodnikov (25-5-0, 18 knockouts), a 42-year-old Russian, has not fought since losing a unanimous decision to John Molina Jr. in 2016.
