The Seattle Mariners reinstated right-hander Diego Castillo (shoulder) and utilityman Dylan Moore (back) from the injured list on Wednesday.

In corresponding moves, the club optioned outfielder Kyle Lewis and left-hander Brennan Bernardino to Triple-A Tacoma.

Castillo, 28, was placed on the 15-day IL late last month with shoulder inflammation.

Castillo is 7-1 with a 3.93 ERA and six saves in 39 appearances out of the bullpen this season. He is 24-16 with a 3.12 ERA and 34 saves in 230 games (17 starts) with the Tampa Bay Rays (2018-21) and Mariners.

Moore, 30, landed on the IL with back spasms. He’s batting .197 with five home runs, 11 stolen bases and 25 runs in 75 games.

Moore can play all over the diamond, making an appearance at every infield and outfield position this season. He’s played right field (37 games) the most and shortstop (18) second most.

Bernardino, 30, was just recalled Tuesday when Ryan Borucki went on the IL. He made his major league debut July 31 and gave up three runs over two appearances.

Lewis, 27, is struggling just two seasons removed from winning American League Rookie of the Year in 2020. He’s batting just .143 with three home runs and five RBIs in 18 games.
