The Celtics re-signed forward Sam Hauser to a three-year contract, The Boston Globe reported Sunday.

The deal is worth about $6 million, with the first two years fully guaranteed, per the newspaper.

Hauser, who was undrafted after his college career at Marquette and Virginia, signed a two-way contract with the Celtics last summer before joining the team in February on an NBA contract. He became a restricted free agent after the Celtics declined their one-year, $1.6 million option last week.

In 26 games with the Celtics in 2021-22, he averaged 2.5 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.1 minutes per game.

From the 3-point line, the 6-foot-8 Hauser shot 43.2 percent (19 of 44).

Hauser, 24, saw limited action in the playoffs as the Celtics advanced to the NBA Finals, losing in six games to the Golden State Warriors. He played 15 minutes over seven games, scoring five points.
