The Arizona Coyotes signed goaltender Ivan Prosvetov to a one-year contract extension, the club announced Tuesday.

Prosvetov, 23, was drafted by the Coyotes in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and called up to the NHL team for three games in each of the past two seasons. In 2021-22, he recorded a 4.22 goals-against average and an .875 save percentage with Arizona.

The Moscow native has spent most of the past three seasons with the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League. He has a 38-41-6 record with a 3.40 GAA and .893 save percentage with three shutouts in 90 career AHL games with Tucson.

“We are very pleased to sign Ivan to a contract extension,” said Coyotes general manager Bill Armstrong. “He is a big, athletic goaltender who is very talented. We look forward to continuing to watch him develop.”
