Anthony Rizzo hit a tiebreaking RBI single and the New York Yankees capitalized on five errors by the visiting Baltimore Orioles to extend their winning streak to six games with a 10-5 victory Thursday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

Aaron Judge hit a three-run homer and had the tying single in the fifth inning as the Yankees won for the eighth time in nine games. New York also ran its home winning streak to seven games after rallying from their first deficit of the series.

Rizzo snapped a 2-2 tie in the fifth when he lined a single off Baltimore starter Bruce Zimmermann (1-1) in front of left fielder Austin Hays that scored DJ LeMahieu, who reached on an error. Judge hit the tying single ahead of Rizzo and Giancarlo Stanton followed Rizzo with an RBI single.

Judge’s hard single deflected off second baseman Rougned Odor’s glove and occurred after shortstop Jorge Mateo booted LeMahieu’s grounder for Baltimore’s second error of the inning.

Marwin Gonzalez started the rally with a run-scoring double after the Orioles’ first error of the inning. Orioles third baseman Kelvin Gutierrez was charged with an error for making a low throw to first base on a grounder by Tim Locastro.

Gonzalez also added a sacrifice fly in the sixth to cap an 11-pitch at bat after reliever Mike Baumann was charged with a throwing error on Locastro’s comebacker.

Josh Donaldson added insurance with an RBI single in the seventh. Locastro scored on a wild pitch after Mateo misplayed LeMahieu’s grounder in the eighth.

Gutierrez hit an RBI single in the second and Trey Mancini had an RBI groundout in the third for the Orioles, who dropped their fourth straight. Hays went 4-for-5 and had an RBI double.

Zimmermann was charged with four unearned runs and allowed five hits in 4 1/3 innings.

New York starter Jameson Taillon allowed two runs and seven hits in 4 2/3 innings. Miguel Castro (2-0) escaped a bases loaded jam in the fifth. Jonathan Loaisiga stranded two in the sixth and tossed 1 1/3 innings.

Baltimore, which scored three runs in the ninth, fell to 4-18 in its past 22 visits to New York.
