TSM fired League of Legends coach Zhang “Peter Zhang” Yi on Saturday following “allegations of conflict of interest and unethical practices.”
Dexerto reported Sunday that one reason for the dismissal was that Peter Zhang was essentially functioning as an agent, securing places on the roster for Chinese and Taiwanese players in exchange for a cut of their earnings.
“After an initial investigation, we have terminated him effective immediately,” TSM posted on Twitter. “We are working with external legal counsel to complete a full investigation.”

Responding to Dexerto, Peter Zhang explained that the allegations against him were either a misunderstanding or a malicious framing of the events.
