The NBA fined Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler $25,000 on Friday for violating media access rules during All-Star weekend.

Per the league, Butler failed to “comply with his media availability obligations… including following the game on Sunday night.” The NBA also noted he did not comply with its resulting investigation.

Butler, 32, earned his sixth All-Star selection this season while leading the Heat to a tie atop the Eastern Conference at the break. In 40 starts, Butler has averaged 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Playing as a reserve for Team LeBron, Butler had two points, an assist and two steals in nine minutes in the All-Star Game on Sunday in Cleveland.
