Celebrity singer Justin Bieber has just purchased a Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) non-fungible token (NFT) for 500 Ethereum equaling 1.29 million at the time of settlement. That amount is 300K above floor. Bieber owns a lot of collection of NFTs and his wallet is reported to have 340.43 of ether with a value of $879K.

The sale occurred from the NFT marketplace Opensea. Beiber’s name under the marketplace is “JustinBieberNFTS.” He purchased e BAYC’s floor price at 104 a reported $270,908 at the time of sale.
Bieber’s wallet also reveals his interest for collecting NFTs. The tats show he has 619 NFTs from 49 various collections.
Other celebrities have also taken art in the NFT buying craze such as Linkin Park’s Steve Aoki, comedian Jimmy Fallon, rapper Eminem, Travis Barker, Paris Hilton, Charlotte Hornets’ LaMelo Ball, and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.
