American pop star Britney Spears has been spilling beans about her family members since her tumultuous conservatorship ended last year. The 40-year-old pop artist opened out about her 2002 breakup with Justin Timberlake, a musician and actor.
Britney came for her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who is presently marketing her novel, Things I Should Have Said, in a recent Instagram post.
The Daily Mail reported that the singer-songwriter appeared to take aim at her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, in a since-deleted tweet, claiming that she had a better upbringing and a starring role on TV when she was a child.
Britney Spears’ dispute with her family escalated on Tuesday with a venomous Instagram post in which she claimed she should have hit her mother and sister ‘across your f***ing faces.
She also chastised her mother, Lynne Spears, for her lack of support following her separation with Justin Timberlake.
Britney’s most recent post included a stock photo of sweet holiday drinks, which appeared to be a dig at her sister, who she said was sipping on similar concoctions.
After her breakup with Timberlake in 2002, she recalled seeing her sister lazing at home. Britney gave her side of the tale in a recent Instagram post, denying various charges made by her sister.
‘I flew home to Jamie Lynn on the couch watching her tv shows right after Justin and I broke up… I was a ghost there!!!!!’ she wrote. ‘I had worked my whole life and I didn’t know how to be served by Mamma … Sit there and get served the chocolate milkshakes with the perfectly crushed ice with the secret chunky sugar meanwhile Jamie Lynn is 12, she indulges with the TV for hours then goes to lay out on a raft at the pool.’
Jamie Lynn joined the main cast of Nickelodeon’s kid-friendly sketch comedy series All That in 2002, and the Toxic singer seemed to indicate that her personal celebrity may have had a part.
Spears went on to say that she never received the support from her mother or sister that she had hoped for. There have been many heated comments and accusations exchanged, including one claim that Britney allegedly took a knife and locked her and Jamie Lynn in a room.
‘I’m sorry Jamie Lynn, I wasn’t strong enough to do what should have been done … slapped you and Mamma right across your f***ing faces !!!!!’ she wrote.
Spears appeared to wash her hands of the mounting fight with a text message reading, ‘Thankful, Grateful, Blessed,’ after deleting her subsequent post threatening to slap her family members.
Britney Spears was able to remove her 13-year conservatorship last year, which had been imposed following her infamous breakdowns in 2007 and 2008.
