NCAAB: UCLA cancels clash with UNC due to COVID concerns

No. 4 UCLA has canceled Saturday’s game in Las Vegas against North Carolina due to COVID-19 concerns within the Bruins’ program.

With Ohio State having also dropped out of the CBS Sports Classic earlier this week, the Tar Heels will isntead face Kentucky on Saturday.

UCLA (8-1) has officially paused its season, with the status of upcoming home games against Cal Poly (Dec. 22) and No. 8 Arizona (Dec. 30) still to be determined.

The Bruins canceled Wednesday’s game against Alabama State after head coach Mick Cronin announced he would not be able to coach due to COVID-19 protocols.
