Inter Miami CF re-signed midfielder Victor Ulloa to a two-year deal on Sunday.
The 29-year-old Ulloa has played in 44 of the team’s 57 matches through its first two MLS seasons. The Mexico native started 14 of 21 games played in 2021 and had two assists before missing time late in the season due to a quadriceps injury.
Ulloa, 29, has five assists overall for Inter Miami.
“I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to continue at the club, for the trust they have shown me, for believing in me and in my work. I’m happy to stay at Inter Miami and I’m looking forward to the next season,” Ulloa said in a news release. “We have to keep fighting and focus on the season that lies ahead. I will do my best to contribute all my leadership, experience and skill as a player to do things well and help the team in whatever way I can so that next year we can achieve our goals.”
Overall, Ulloa has six goals and 13 assists in 214 MLS matches (167 starts) with FC Dallas (2011, 2014-18), FC Cincinnati (2019) and Inter Miami
Inter Miami also signed Brazilian midfielder Jean Mota to a two-year deal with a club option for 2025. Mota, 28, was playing for Santos FC in Brazil.
