Madison Booker pumped in 30 points and climbed into third place on Texas’ all-time scoring list as the sixth-ranked Longhorns crushed Northern Colorado 91-29 on Saturday in Austin, Texas.
Booker ended the night with 2,023 points, 15 more than Clarissa Davis recorded from 1985-89. The Longhorns’ all-time top scorers are Annette Smith (2,523, 1981-86) and Linda Waggoner (2,256, 1976-80).
Booker sank 10 of 14 shots from the floor and added a game-high six assists.
Texas (2-0) outscored Northern Colorado 23-6 in the first quarter and 26-3 in the second quarter to turn the game into a rout. Addison Bjorn put up 13 points, Brihanna Crittendon contributed 11 and Breya Cunningham registered 10 points and a game-high six rebounds.
Mia Galbraith topped the Bears with seven points, and Neenah George added six.
