Top laner Martin “Wunder” Hansen is set to move from G2 Esports to Fnatic, Dot Esports reported Tuesday.

According to the report, Fnatic are completing a buyout of Wunder’s contract, with a payout of around 600,000 euros ($679,230). Per Dot Esports, the discussions began in September at around 2 million euros.

With Fnatic, Wunder would take the place of Adam “Adam” Maanane, who is headed to new League of Legends European Championship (LEC) club Team BDS, according to Dot Esports and Upcomer.com.

G2 chief executive officer Carlos “ocelote” Rodriguez Santiago announced in October that Wunder was one of a number of people the club was looking to offload. The others on the way out, per ocelote, are head coach Fabian “Grabbz” Lohmann, strategic coach Sng “Nelson” Yi-Wei and support player Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle. The exit of Martin “Rekkles” Larsson was confirmed by G2 on Monday.

G2 won the LEC Spring Split regular season this year before coming in third place in the Spring playoffs. In the LEC Summer Split, G2 placed second but then finished fourth in the Summer playoffs, one spot out of earning a place in the League of Legends World Championship.

Fnatic came in fifth in the Spring regular season, Spring playoffs and Summer regular season, then snagged second place in the Summer playoffs to make the Worlds. Fnatic tied for 14th in the 22-team World Championship.

Wunder, a 23-year-old Denmark native, previously played for Team Dignitas and Splyce, among other clubs.
