Boston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas is recovering from arthroscopic surgery Thursday on his left wrist.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Matthew Leibman at Newton-Wellesley Surgery Center in Wellesley, Mass.

Casas, 26, started the season the injured list while recovering from a ruptured patellar tendon in May 2025. He sustained an abdominal injury during spring training and wrist inflammation while trying to work his way back.

Boston did not provide a timeline for the return of the former first-round draft pick, who is currently on the 60-day injured list.

Casas has batted .241 with 45 homers and 120 RBIs in 251 career games over parts of four seasons with Boston (2022-25) since being drafted 26th overall in 2018.
