Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was reportedly taken to a hospital in New Jersey with what appears to be a stomach issue.

“He’s dealing with some abdominal issues, but he’s going to be fine,” his friend, attorney Arthur Aidala, told the Daily News on Friday.

TMZ reported earlier on Friday that Taylor was hospitalized in New Jersey after experiencing “a medical emergency.”

Taylor, 67, reportedly was sent to the emergency room before being transferred elsewhere within the facility.

He publicly battled substance abuse issues after leaving the NFL.

Widely regarded as one of the best defensive players in NFL history, Taylor has the resume to prove it. He is a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, eight-time All-Pro and 10-time Pro Bowl selection during his 13-year career with the New York Giants.

Taylor’s 1986 season is one for the ages, as he recorded 20.5 sacks en route to being named the NFL MVP.

A two-time Super Bowl champion, Taylor was selected by the Giants with the second overall pick of the 1981 NFL Draft out of North Carolina.
