Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant, tied for the NBA lead in scoring this season, is questionable for Monday night’s home game against the Denver Nuggets because of soreness in his right elbow.

Morant is averaging 28.7 points a game. He shares the top spot with Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry.

Morant also is averaging 7.7 assists and 5.2 rebounds a game for the Grizzlies (3-3). In his most recent game, he had 20 points and seven assists in 33 minutes in Memphis’ 129-103 loss to Miami on Saturday.

The Grizzlies did not play Sunday.
