Arizona Coyotes goaltender Carter Hutton left Monday’s game against the Florida Panthers because of a lower-body injury.

The Coyotes confirmed Hutton would not return. He played 20 minutes, stopping 10 of 11 shots, and Karel Vejmelka replaced him in net.

The 35-year-old Hutton entered the game with an 0-2-0 record and 8.75 goals-against average in two games this season. He is in his first season with the Coyotes after making stops in Chicago (2012-13), Nashville (2013-16), St. Louis (2016-18) and Buffalo (2018-21).

The game was tied at 1-1 when Hutton exited.
