Team Liquid is one win away from completing a perfect run through the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 — North America Stage 3.

Liquid held off a stubborn Geekay Esports squad in the upper-bracket final on Saturday, winning 3-1 and advancing to Sunday’s grand final.

Up next will be the winner of Sunday’s first match, the lower-bracket final between Geekay and Spacestation Gaming.

The eight-team online competition began Sept. 6 with six weeks of round-robin play. The top six teams advanced to the double-elimination regional playoffs, which are best-of-five matches. The grand final is a best-of-seven contest.

The top three finishers in the playoffs will earn Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals invitations as well as cash prizes of $30,000 (first), $20,000 (second) and $14,500 (third). Lower finishers will earn less: $10,500 for fourth, $7,500 for fifth and sixth and $5,000 for seventh and eighth.

Saturday began with Sakura Esports and Spacestation facing off in the lower-bracket semifinal. Sakura opened with a 2-1 win on Lijiang Tower Control but Spacestation responded with three straight wins: 3-2 on Rialto Escort, 3-2 on King’s Row Hybrid and 129.71m-45.82m on Esperanca Push.

The loss eliminated Sakura and sent Spacestation to the lower-bracket final. Next, Liquid opened the upper bracket final with a 2-0 win on Ilios Control before Geekay answered with a 4-3 win on King’s Row Hybrid. The next two maps were competitive but Liquid came away with two wins — a 2-1 victories on Watchpoint: Gibraltar Escort and Aatlis Flashpoint.

The lower-bracket final will be a rematch of the best match of the final week of group play, where Spacestation overcame a 2-1 deficit to beat Geekay 3-2.
