LOL: KT Rolster, Anyone’s Legend advance at World Championship

KT Rolster and Anyone’s Legend became the first teams to advance to the Knockout Stage at the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship in Beijing.

Both picked up their third victories of the Swiss Stage in best-of-three Round 3 High Matches on Friday. KT Rolster swept Top Esports and Anyone’s Legend rallied to defeat CTBC Flying Oyster 2-1.

Teams need three wins in the five-round Swiss Stage to reach the Knockout Stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated. All matches are best-of-one except for elimination and advancement matches, which are best-of-three.

Eight teams will make the Knockout Stage, a single-elimination bracket starting Oct. 28 where all matches are best-of-five. The winner of the Nov. 9 grand final will earn $1 million, with $800,000 going to the runner-up.

Action continues Saturday with four Round 3 Mid Matches between 1-1 teams:
–Secret Whales vs. FlyQuest
–Gen.G Esports vs. T1
–G2 Esports vs. Bilibili Gaming
–100 Thieves vs. Hanwha Life
