NBA: Hawks trade G Kobe Bufkin to Nets for cash

The Atlanta Hawks traded guard Kobe Bufkin to the Brooklyn Nets for cash considerations on Tuesday.

Bufkin, who turns 22 on Sunday, was a first-round pick (15th overall) by Atlanta in the 2023 NBA Draft.

He averaged 5.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 27 games (no starts) in two seasons with the Hawks.

Bufkin averaged 23.6 points, 5.9 assists and 5.4 rebounds in 14 games with the G League’s College Park Skyhawks.
