Houston Texans Pro Bowl offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil underwent successful surgery Thursday to repair the fully torn UCL in his thumb, NFL Network reported.

Tunsil is out 4-6 weeks, per the report.

Tunsil was injured in the second quarter of last week’s loss to the New England Patriots and left the game. He was replaced by Geron Christian.

The 27-year-old Tunsil made the Pro Bowl the past two seasons. He has started all 77 games he has played in since being taken No. 13 overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 2016 draft. He’s in his third season in Houston.
