DOTA: Tundra, Falcons reach Esports World Cup semifinals

Tundra Esports and Team Falcons collected quarterfinal wins on Thursday at the Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tundra outlasted BetBoom Team for a 2-1 victory and Falcons swept Team Liquid. Tundra and Falcons will meet in the semifinals on Friday.

Tundra sandwiched a 47-minute win on green and a 52-minute victory on red around BetBoom’s 40-minute win on green, while Falcons posted consecutive 39-minute wins on red against Liquid.

Team Spirit and PARIVISION will clash in the other semifinal. Friday’s winners will meet in the best-of-five grand final on Saturday, while the semifinal losers will battle in a best-of-three for third place the same day.

The Esports World Cup is the final championship of the third season of the ESL Pro Tour. Previously known as the Riyadh Masters, the EWC has a prize pool of $3 million, with $1 million plus 1,000 club points awarded to the team that is crowned champion on Saturday.
