Geekay Esports emerged from the lower bracket and took down Team Liquid 4-3 in the grand final of the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 — North America Stage 2 on Sunday.

Geekay swept NTMR 3-0 in the lower-bracket final earlier in the day to advance to face Team Liquid. It was a rematch of the upper-bracket final, in which Liquid handed Geekay its first loss of the tournament (3-1) after Geekay went 7-0 during the regular season.

After Team Liquid opened Sunday with a 2-0 victory on Ilios Control, Geekay took the next three maps — 3-2 on King’s Row Hybrid, 3-2 again on Circuit Royal Escort and 132.24m-105.67m on Runasapi Push.

Team Liquid evened the best-of-seven series at 3-3 by winning 3-1 on Suravasa Flashpoint and 3-0 on New Junk City Flashpoint.

The decisive seventh map was Oasis Control, where Geekay prevailed 2-0.

In the lower-bracket final, Geekay defeated NTMR 2-1 on Oasis Control, 3-2 on Circuit Royal Escort and 3-0 on New Junk City Flashpoint for the sweep.

Despite his team’s third-place finish, Rocco “Kronik” Iacobacci of NTMR won the most match MVP awards of the tournament (five) and was named the OCWS NA Stage 2 Super Star.

The top three teams — Geekay, Team Liquid and NTMR — advanced to the Midseason Championship and North America Stage 3. Geekay received $30,000 for first place.
