DOTA: Playoff bracket set at PGL Wallachia Season 5

Tundra Esports, Xtreme Gaming and BetBoom Team secured the final berths in the PGL Wallachia Season 5 playoffs on Wednesday in Bucharest, Romania.

Tundra defeated Wildcard and BetBoom beat Team Tidebound, both by 2-1 scores, while XG swept HEROIC in the fifth and final round of the group stage.

Those three joined Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators, Natus Vincere, Aurora Gaming and Team Liquid in the double-elimination playoffs that begin Thursday. All remaining matches are best-of-three until Sunday’s best-of-five grand final, with the winner of the $1 million Dota 2 tournament taking home $350,000.

Tundra sandwiched a 37- and 34-minute wins on green around Wildcard’s 60-minute victory on red.

Xtreme Gaming eliminated HEROIC with a 44-minute win on green and a 61-minute triumph on red.

BetBoom opened with a 41-minute win on green against Tidebound, which answered with a 43-minute win on green. BetBoom advanced with a 50-minute victory on red.

Thursday’s upper-bracket quarterfinal matchups:
