LOL: FlyQuest tops Cloud9 to reach grand final at 2025 Split 2

FlyQuest advanced to the grand final with a 3-2 victory over Cloud9 in the upper-bracket final on Saturday in the League of Legends LTA North 2025 Split 2 in Los Angeles.

Cloud9 moves on to the lower-bracket final on June 14 and will face the winner of Sunday’s lower-bracket semifinal between Team Liquid and Shopify Rebellion. The winner of the lower-bracket final will face FlyQuest in the grand final on June 15.

FlyQuest opened Saturday’s match against Cloud9 with back-to-back wins on blue (36 minutes) and red (30 minutes), before Cloud9 rallied to pull even with a pair of wins on blue (37 minutes) and red (28 minutes) to force a decisive fifth game. FlyQuest rebounded to win in 36 minutes on blue to reach the grand final.

Following the group stage and one week of cross-group battles, the top six teams advanced to the best-of-five, double-elimination playoffs that run through June 15.

The total prize pool is $160,000, with $80,000 going to the winner and $40,000 to the runner-up. The winner also receives entry into the Mid-Season Invitational and the winner and runner-up qualify for the Esports World Cup.
