CALLOFDUTY: Thieves take down FaZe, win Call of Duty Stage 4 Major

The LA Thieves ended the Atlanta FaZe’s perfect run through the playoffs on Sunday, capturing the grand final 4-2 to win the Call of Duty League 2025: Stage 4 Major in Dallas.

With the victory, the Thieves picked up $150,000 and 100 CDL points. The FaZe took home $90,000 and 75 points.

In a back-and-forth match, the Thieves opened with a 250-177 win on Red Card Hardpoint and a 6-4 victory on Rewind Search and Destroy before the FaZe answered with 3-2 (Protocol Control) and 250-235 (Skyline Hardpoint) wins. But LA posted a 6-3 triumph on Red Card Search and Destroy and a 3-0 shutout on Hacienda Control to finish the match.

Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez led the way with 132 kills and a 1.14 kill-death ratio for the Thieves. McArthur “Cellium” Jovel had 122 kills in the loss for Atlanta.

The Thieves opened the day in the lower bracket semifinal, where they beat OpTic Texas 3-1. After OpTic took Skyline Hardpoint 250-237, the Thieves swept the next three maps — 6-3 on Dealership Search and Destroy, 3-2 on Hacienda Control, and 250-136 on Vault Hardpoint.

After the FaZe beat the Miami Heretics 3-1 in the upper bracket final, the Thieves swept Miami in the lower bracket final. LA won 250-202 on Vault Hardpoint, 6-3 on Red Card Search and Destroy, and 3-1 on Vault Control.
