Will Zalatoris withdrew from the CJ CUP Byron Nelson outside of Dallas on Wednesday.

An immediate explanation for Zalatoris’ departure was not provided by PGA Tour Communications.

James Hahn will serve as the replacement for Zalatoris, who has made eight of nine cuts this season. The latter is 68th in the Official World Golf Ranking and 88th in the FedEx Cup standings.

Zalatoris, 28, has one career PGA Tour victory (2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship) under his belt, although he has runner-up finishes at the 2021 Masters, 2022 PGA Championship and 2022 U.S. Open.
