The St. Louis Cardinals’ game against the Red Sox in Boston scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to an extended period of rain in the area, both teams announced.

The game originally scheduled for today has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader Sunday instead. The originally scheduled evening contest will still occur, but an additional game will happen in the early afternoon (1:35 p.m. local time).

Tickets for today’s game will provide admission to the rescheduled game Sunday.
