William Nylander and John Tavares each had two goals and two assists and the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the visiting Philadelphia Flyers 7-2 on Tuesday night.

Bobby McMann added a goal and an assist for the Maple Leafs (43-25-3, 89 points), who have won four of five. David Kampf and Max Domi also scored and Matthew Knies added two assists. Anthony Stolarz made 17 saves.

Ryan Poehling and Sean Couturier scored for the Flyers (28-36-9, 65 points), who have lost six straight and completed an 0-4-1 road trip. Samuel Ersson stopped 23 shots.

Toronto had two deflected goals to lead 2-1 after the first period.

Poehling scored from the slot at 7:59 on a pass from Jakob Pelletier after Knies was stripped of the puck along the left boards.

Tavares tied the game at 10:37, converting a backhand pass into the slot from Nylander, who had scooped up a loose puck behind the net. Tavares’ shot deflected off the skate of Flyers defenseman Cam York.

Nylander scored on a power play at 15:11 when his shot deflected off Philadelphia defenseman Nick Seeler’s skate and into the net. Philadelphia had been penalized for too many men on the ice.

Toronto took a 3-1 lead at 1:45 of the second period when Nylander whirled behind the net to set up McMann’s goal on a shot from the edge of the right circle.

Couturier hit the crossbar with a shot at 3:58 of the second.

Tavares scored at 7:49 on a blocker-side shot from 8 feet after a pass from Mitchell Marner.

Nylander scored his 40th goal of the season to match his career best at 11:55 of the second on a 37-foot wrist shot through traffic. He has scored 40 in each of the previous two seasons.

Kampf scored on a breakaway at 15:08 of the second. The Flyers got one back when Couturier tipped in Jamie Drysdale’s shot at 18:17.

Toronto’s Morgan Rielly scored at 4:41 of the third period, but it was erased because of goaltender interference.

Domi beat Flyers defenseman Emil Andrae to a loose puck to score at 11:32 of the third period.
