LOL: JunJia powers CTBC Flying Oyster to win in opener of First Stand

CTBC Flying Oyster recorded a 2-0 victory over Karmine Corp on Tuesday to win their opener of the 2025 First Stand Tournament in Seoul, South Korea.

Five teams are competing this week in Riot Games’ $1 million League of Legends event, with the winner of Sunday’s grand final taking home $300,000. Following a single Round Robin stage (best of three matches), the top four teams move to the Knockout Stage (best of five).

Taiwan’s Chun-chia “JunJia” Yu was named the MVP after helping CTBC Flying Oyster post a 30-minute win on blue and a 34-minute victory on red.

Also Wednesday, Top Esports seized a 2-0 triumph over Team Liquid.

Top Esports notched a 31-minute win on blue and 27-minute victory on red to bounce back from a tournament-opening loss to Hanwha Life Esports on Monday.
