The Los Angeles Rams and left tackle Alaric Jackson agreed on a three-year, $57 million contract extension, multiple media outlets reported Friday.

The deal, which includes between $35 million and $37 million guaranteed, keeps Jackson from hitting free agency in March.

Jackson was an undrafted free agent when he caught on with the Rams in 2021. He made his first six career starts at right guard in 2022 and soon took over as their left tackle, where he made 29 starts over the past two seasons.

He played 2024 on a one-year deal after signing his restricted free agent tender the previous offseason.

He will continue to protect the blind side of quarterback Matthew Stafford, who earlier in the day agreed to a restructured contract to stay with the Rams after the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders were rumored to have interest in acquiring him.
