PARIVISION survived a second consecutive playoff matchup on Thursday at the BLAST Slam II, edging Team Liquid 2-1 to advance to the quarterfinals in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Team Falcons came from behind for a 2-1 win over BetBoom Team in the other second-round playoff match.

Team Liquid and Team Falcons each had a first-round bye.

In the quarterfinals on Friday, PARIVISION will oppose Nigma Galaxy, with the winner advancing to a Saturday semifinal matchup against Tundra Esports. Team Falcons will meet Yakult Brothers in the quarterfinals for the right to face Gaimin Gladiators in the semifinals.

The $1 million Dota 2 event began last week with two groups of five teams. A round robin of best-of-one matches in each group determined seeding for the playoff stage.

On Thursday, PARIVISION opened with a 22-minute win on green, but Team Liquid pulled level with a 36-minute victory on green. PARIVISION sealed the series by taking the third map in 27 minutes on green.

After BetBoom team notched a 55-minute win on green, Team Falcons replied by claiming a 45-minute victory on green and a 43-minute triumph on red.
