Elon Musk Grimes are ‘semi-separated’ after three years together, Elon Musk confirms. The couple had their first child X Æ A-Xii -pronounced “Ex Ash A Twelve” in May 2020; Musk has six other children from other marriages. Musk says they broke up due to being too far apart as Musk recently moved to Texas , and Grimes lives in LA. Musk moved to Texas in December 2020 following discernment with California lawmakers over government shutdowns amid the COVID-19 crisis.
The couple was seen last leaving New York City after attending the Met Gala. Grimes is working on a new singing competition show for the Fox network called Alter Ego, to discover the next digital pop star.
The couple started dating in May 2018. They are still in love Musk says. The Daily Mail reports- It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.’
Musk has five sons with his first wife, author Justine Wilson; twins Griffin and Xavier, 17, and triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai, 15.
He also married “Westworld” actress Talulah Riley in 2010, but they divorced two years later. They remarried in 2013 and divorced again in 2016.
