CSGO: FURIA, paiN win groups at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade #2

FURIA Esports and paiN Gaming won their groups’ grand finals Tuesday at the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade #2 event in Serbia.

FURIA advanced to the Group B grand final with a 2-0 win against 9Pandas in the lower-bracket final, winning 13-6 on Inferno and 16-12 on Dust II.

FURIA then outlasted Eternal Fire 19-17 on Dust II in the grand final, with both teams moving on to the tournament playoffs.

In the Group A grand final, paiN Gaming scored a 13-10 victory against Team Falcons on Vertigo. Both sides moved on to the playoffs.

HEROIC, MOUZ, Team Spirit and Virtus.pro previously qualified for the playoffs in the $500,000 event due to their status as high seeds.

The playoffs begin Wednesday with a double-elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-three until the best-of-five grand final, which will be held on Sunday. A first-place prize of $250,000 will be awarded to the winning team.

Wednesday’s playoff schedule features four upper-bracket quarterfinals:

–Virtus.pro vs. FURIA Esports
–Team Falcons vs. Team Spirit
