Sebastian Lletget had a goal and two assists as visiting FC Dallas recorded a 4-3 victory over 10-man D.C. United on Saturday.

Tsiki Ntsabeleng collected a goal and an assist and Nkosi Tafari and Paul Arriola also scored in FC Dallas’ first win in 13 road matches this season (1-8-4). The Toros (9-11-6, 33 points) are 3-0-1 in their past four regular-season matches overall.

Christian Benteke, David Schnegg and Jared Stroud scored for D.C. United as the club matched its highest goal total of the season. However, it was also the fifth time D.C. (6-12-8, 26 points) has allowed four or more goals in a match this year.

Six of the match’s seven goals came in the first half, beginning with Benteke’s header in the second minute. That dream start for D.C. was forgotten seven minutes later when Lletget’s corner kick found Tafari alone in the box for the finish.

Lletget gave FC Dallas the lead with a header in the 21st minute. The Toros’ attacking surge continued in the 40th minute, when Arriola finished off a nice passing play for his fourth goal of the season.

Schnegg’s first career MLS goal cut the deficit to 3-2 for D.C. United in the 42nd minute, but Dallas again responded quickly. Two minutes after Schnegg’s tally, Ntsabeleng put the final touch on another well-designed passing sequence to restore FC Dallas’ two-goal lead.

D.C. was forced to play with 10 men after Boris Enow was issued his second yellow card two minutes into first-half stoppage time. D.C. United were booked seven times on Saturday, while the Toros were shown three yellow cards.

Just when the situation seemed dire for D.C. United, the club took back momentum after the break. Stroud scored in the 48th minute to again make it a one-goal match, but D.C. could never find the equalizer.

Dallas’ leading goal scorer, Petar Musa, was a late scratch. Logan Farrington stepped into the starting lineup and collected two assists.
