UFC: Caio Borralho downs Jared Cannonier at Fight Night

Caio Borralho beat Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision on Saturday night in their main event middleweight bout at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

Borralho (17-1-0) took the cards 49-45, 49-45, 48-46 for his seventh consecutive win in UFC action. He has won his past 14 fights overall after a no-contest on June 15, 2018.

Cannonier (17-8-0) has dropped three of his past five fights.

There were two title fights on Saturday, with middleweight Ryan Loder (8-1-0) knocking out Robert Valentin (11-4-0) and featherweight Mairon Santos (15-1-0) doing the same to Kaan Ofli (11-3-1).

Welterweight Michael Morales (17-0-0) and women’s flyweight Wang Cong (6-0-0) also downed their opponents via KO.

Other winners Saturday included women’s strawweight Tabatha Ricci (11-2-0), middleweights Gerald Meerschaert (37-17-0) and Zachary Reese (8-1-0), lightweights Francis Marshall (8-2-0) and Viacheslav Borshchev (8-4-1) and women’s bantamweight Jacqueline Cavalcanti (7-1-0).
