The Buffalo Bills added more safety depth Wednesday with the signing of free agent Terrell Burgess.

The team signed fellow veteran safety Kareem Jackson earlier this week after training camp injuries to Mike Edwards (hamstring) and rookie Cole Bishop (undisclosed).

Burgess, 25, tallied 25 tackles in 12 games (one start) for the Washington Commanders in 2023.

He has 54 tackles and one pass defensed in 43 games (four starts) with the Los Angeles Rams (2020-22), New York Giants (2022) and Commanders.

Burgess was a third-round pick by the Rams in 2020 and helped them win Super Bowl LVI.

The Bills released undrafted free agent punter Jack Browning to make room for Burgess on the roster.
