Facundo Torres’ brace led Orlando City to a 3-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday night in Foxborough, Mass.

With the victory, Orlando (8-9-6, 30 points) has won three straight matches and is 4-1-1 over its last six.

Ramiro Enrique also scored for the Lions, who won for the first time in nine visits to Gillette Stadium (1-6-2).

Giacomo Vrioni had the lone goal for New England (7-13-1, 22 points), which has just four wins in 12 home matches this season (4-7-1). The Revs have just one win overall in their last four matches.

Orlando scored twice early in the second half to erase a 1-0 deficit.

Torres tied it 1-1 in the 51st minute, putting a left-footed strike from the top of the box past a diving Aljaz Ivacic.

Eight minutes later, Orlando took a 2-1 lead as Enrique deflected a Cesar Araujo header off a set piece for his second goal of the season. The Lions now have six goals off set pieces this season.

Torres’ added his second of the match in the 81st minute, giving Orlando a 3-1 lead as he put a left-footed strike far side past Ivacic.

The Uruguayan now has 10 goal contributions (six goals, four assists) in his last six matches. He leads Orlando with eight goals.

New England controlled the first-half possession and led 1-0 after 45 minutes of play.

Vrioni opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with his eighth goal of the season, tapping in the DeJuan Jones pass past keeper Pedro Gallese.

Orlando had plenty of opportunity to get on the board in the opening 45 minutes.

The Lions had an excellent chance to open the scoring in the fourth minute, but Martin Ojeda’s strike from outside the area sailed over the bar.

Before the first-half whistle, Dagur Thorhallsson had a glorious chance in the area as he one-timed an Ivan Angulo cross, but Ivacic was in position to make the save.

Saturday was the first of two meetings. The teams will reconvene in Orlando on Sept. 14.
