Nick Castellanos hit a walk-off double to right field in the 10th inning as the host Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 on Tuesday.

With pinch runner Whit Merrifield on second base to open the bottom of the 10th, the Brewers’ Joel Payamps (1-2) intentionally walked Bryson Stott before Castellanos hit a first-pitch sinker for the winning hit.

Alec Bohm hit a solo home run and Castellanos and Kyle Schwarber each drew two walks for the Phillies, who have won the first two games in the three-game series. Philadelphia has five wins in the past six contests.

Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez tossed six innings and allowed four hits and one run with three strikeouts and one walk.

Seranthony Dominguez (2-2) earned the win in relief.

Blake Perkins and Christian Yelich had two hits each for the Brewers, who were unable to score in the top of the 10th. Phillies second baseman Stott threw out Oliver Dunn at home for the second out.

Brewers opener Jared Koenig pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings after tossing one shutout inning to begin Monday’s game.

In the bottom of the eighth, Bohm tied the score at 1 with a leadoff homer to center off Elvis Peguero, snapping an 0-for-14 skid.

Milwaukee’s William Contreras and Yelich hit consecutive singles to open the ninth. Matt Strahm wriggled out of trouble, and the Brewers wound up leaving runners on first and third.

Perkins opened the third with a double and advanced to third on a flyout. Andruw Monasterio hit an RBI groundout to third, and the Brewers went ahead 1-0.

Stott ripped a shot off reliever Colin Rea’s shin to begin the bottom of the fourth. Rea was able to grab the ball and flip it directly from his glove to throw out Stott at first base.

Rea wound up throwing four scoreless innings, but the Brewers took a second straight loss after a five-game winning streak.
