Shohei Ohtani was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle, Mookie Betts collected a triple and a single, and the Los Angeles Dodgers made it two in a row over the host San Francisco Giants with a 10-2 romp Tuesday night.

Rookie Gavin Stone (4-1) extended his unbeaten streak to six games with six innings of one-run ball, helping the Dodgers win for the 10th time in their past 12 games.

Giants rookie Keaton Winn (3-6) matched zeroes with Stone through three innings before Ohtani launched his first pitch of the fourth 446 feet to right-center field for his 12th home run of the season.

The Dodgers didn’t stop there. Two walks set up an RBI double by Teoscar Hernandez and a sacrifice fly by Max Muncy. Gavin Lux capped a four-run inning with a run-scoring triple.

Los Angeles increased its lead to 5-0 on an RBI single by Will Smith in the fifth inning. Ohtani then hit an RBI double in the seventh after Betts had opened the inning with a triple.

Ohtani took a crack at his second career cycle in the ninth but grounded out to second to finish 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

The Dodgers completed their scoring in the ninth on an RBI double by Miguel Rojas, a run-scoring single by Freddie Freeman and a two-run triple by Hernandez, his second and third RBIs of the night.

Stone allowed five hits, walked three and struck out two. He gave up an RBI double to Heliot Ramos in the sixth that cut the Giants’ deficit to 5-1.

Smith had two hits and scored twice for the Dodgers, who improved to 5-0 this season against the Giants. Hernandez also had two hits, while Betts and Freeman also scored twice.

Mike Yastrzemski, Luis Matos and Casey Schmitt had two hits each for the Giants, who have gone 2-3 to start a nine-game homestand. Matos drove in the team’s final run in the ninth with a single.

Winn worked four-plus innings for San Francisco and was charged with five runs on five hits. He walked three and struck out four.
