The Philadelphia Phillies reinstated first baseman Bryce Harper from the paternity list, making him available for Thursday afternoon’s game at Cincinnati.

In a corresponding move, the Phillies optioned infielder Kody Clemens to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Harper, 31, went on leave Monday, anticipating the birth of his third child with his wife, Kayla. The Harpers haven’t shared yet any news of the birth.

Harper has a six-game hitting streak, during which he is hitting .381 with seven RBIs. On the season, the two-time National League MVP is batting .241 with four home runs and 14 RBIs.

Clemens, 27, was 2-for-4 with three RBIs on Monday in Cincinnati, his only major league game of the season.
