The Houston Dash acquired decorated Swiss forward Ramona Bachmann from Paris Saint-Germain.

Financial terms of the transfer, announced by both teams on Wednesday, were not disclosed.

Bachmann, winner of 18 domestic titles and cups since 2007, joins the NWSL club through the 2026 season.

“The accolades Ramona has won speak for themselves and we are thrilled to add a veteran that has not only competed at the highest level, but won major trophies along the way,” Dash general manager Alex Singer said. “She adds a new dimension to how we approach our offense and capitalize on the opportunities we create in the final third. We look forward to watching her impact both on and off the field.”

Bachmann, 33, spent the past three seasons with PSG, twice reaching the UEFA Champions League semifinals.

“I am very excited to join this incredible team and community,” Bachmann said. “I can’t wait to give my all on the field and contribute to a successful journey this season. Let’s make unforgettable memories together.”

Internationally, Bachmann has scored more than 50 goals, earned more than 140 caps and participated in two FIFA Women’s World Cups (2015, 2023) with Switzerland. She was named the Swiss female Player of the Year in 2009 and 2015.
